PROJECT TITLE: ACROSS GENERATIONS - looking for a 2 generation age gap. EG. grandchildren 17+ and their grandparent 75+ or any mentor but we need this larger age gap
I'm casting an information film promoting the "Community of Common Destiny" project. This is to highlight a speech given by President Xi to the UN. This film will be shown at conferences and on-line on a mainland Chinese state run website hosted on Youtube (this is not an advert). WE ARE LOOKING FOR 'REAL' PEOPLE i.e. not actors / models
This film highlights the innate human trait for wanting to create a better future for our children/grandchildren.
We need pairs of people - a younger person 17+ and their older generation mentor preferably grandparent age i.e. 75+. The younger person and older person should be connected in some way and submitted together as we will be filming both of them. We are looking for 10 pairs in all. The older generation is interviewed and then this is shown to the younger generation and we film the reaction - they need to have a connection with each other.
LOOKING FOR THE YOUNGER GENERATION i.e. Millennials AGED 17- 30
AND OLDER GENERATION: Grandparent 75+, martial art instructor, sports coach, teacher, university professor etc.
Looking for a wide range of people both in their ethnic and cultural background

Older Generation: Can you tell us about a younger relative, pupil etc who has influenced you as much as you have influenced them
Millenial Generation: Can you tell us a bit about your relationship with this older person and how they have helped or mentored you in life.
SHOOT TAKES PLACE EITHER THURS 31ST AUGUST OR FRI 1ST SEPTEMBER. FOR THE SHOOT DAY YOU WOULD RECEIVE £250 EACH AND A FURTHER £500 IF YOUR FILM IS USED. THE £500 COVERS 1 YEAR'S USAGE TO COVER USE AT CONFERENCES & ON-lLINE ON A MAINLAND CHINESE STATE RUN WEBSITE HOSTED ON YOUTUBE
